The Axijet

The Axijet patented dilution centrifugal blower is equipped with a backward inclined airfoil impeller. The twin jet nozzles and the wind band are designed to induce air and dilute exhausted fumes, increasing the discharge up to 270% of primary exhaust. Induced and entrained air at the outlet creates a plume of air to ensure the exhausted fumes do not return into the building. Our AXIJET's performance ranges from 500 to 50,000 CFM and static pressures up to 10" W.G. Drain, access door, lifting lugs and stainless hardware are all standard. The stack is designed for outlet velocities of minimum 3000 and maximum 6500 FPM, We are proud of the AXIJET's safe handling and servicing: its motor and belt can be replaced without coming in contact with the contaminated fan impeller. The Axijet™ fans are available in solid FRP or epoxy coated steel.

The Axijet is suitable for laboratory exhaust, universities, pharmaceutical companies, hospitals etc... to dissipate exhausted fumes at higher elevations. Axijet is AMCA certified for sound and air.

STANDARD FEATURES - SOLID FRP CASINGS AND IMPELLERS

Centrifugal

All fans are standard with either belt guard and shaft guards or one piece weather covers. For the CNW and DHK 1225 & 1500, bearings are permanently greased and sealed in a solid cast aluminum flanged casing with a carbon steel shaft. For the DHK, PVK, and PRVS belt drive units, fans are equipped with heavy duty self aligning roller bearings, pillow block type. The pillow block units are effectively sealed to retain lubricant and to keep out dust and dirt.

Axial

All fans are standard with either belt guard or weather covers. For the RKW, AXB 300 to 610 and AXCL 1225 bearings are permanently greased and sealed in a solid cast aluminum flanged casing with a carbon steel shaft. For all other belt driven units, fans are equipped with heavy-duty self-aligning roller bearings, pillow block type. The pillow block units are effectively sealed to retain lubricant and keep out dust and dirt. All shafts and bearings are visible, accessible, serviceable and not in the corrosive air stream.

Access doors for impellers inspection and service - Drains at the low point to remove condensation - Shaft seals - inlet flanges - PVC flexible connections - PVC shutters and FRP dampers - Graphite liners with grounding strap to remove static electricity - Nema 3R disconnect switches - TEFC, Odp, Explosion Proof and Mill and Chem duty motors, all complying with EPAC, UL and CSA standards.

CNW
Manufactured in 5 sizes up to 16" inlet. Used primarily in exhausting fumes from hoods in Universities, Hospitals, Research Institutions, as well as in Process Industries such as Metal Refineries, Pulp and Paper, Electronics, Chemicals, etc.

DHK
Medium pressure, high volume centrifugal blowers Manufactured from 12' to 73" wheels diameter, used in areas of activity where corrosion is a problem. Wheels with backward inclined airfoil blades, quiet performance.

PVK
High pressure, high volume centrifugal blowers. The impellers have backward inclined curved blades. From 20" to 79" wheels diameter. Casing have extra thick walls to resist collapsing from the high static pressure.

PRVS
Very efficient in applications where low volume is required at high static pressure.

AXCL
Inline centrifugal, bifurcated for easy access to belts , bearings and shaft, Manufactured in 12 sizes from AXCL 1225 to AXCL 4900 (12" to 49" wheels).
AXB
Axial fans equipped with propellers, high volume and low static pressure. Direct or Belt Drive. The AXB is manufactured in 13 sizes from AXB 300 to 1320, from 12" to 54" inlet and outlet diameters.
AXPR
Direct drive wall mounted fan with FRP panels, equipped with propellers. for applications with high volume and low static pressure. Manufactured in 11 sizes from 12 to AXPR 54.
RKW
Mounted on roof or wall exhausting corrosive fumes or simply to resist environmental corrosion (i.e. proximity to the ocean and salty air). Direct or belt drive. Wheels are FRP, quiet, efficient and precision balanced.
PVC
Fittings For the exhaust of corrosive fumes, molded fittings, smooth surfaces, stock items for speedy delivery.
