Aircuity
The Aircuity® OptiNet® system is used to "right-size" building ventilation systems.
In laboratories, the OptiNet system brings in dilution air on a space-by-space basis as required for events requiring ventilation (e.g., elevated levels of volatile organic compounds, particles, or CO2 when compared to the room's supply air). Under normal conditions, the ventilation rates can be reduced to significantly lower levels than are required by fixed-air-change-rate systems. This enhances safety while potentially saving enormous amounts of energy.
In office buildings, the OptiNet system helps optimize the ratio of outside air to return air. In so doing, it helps buildings avoid over ventilation (and the accompanying energy waste) or under ventilation (and the accompanying code violation and potentially unhealthy work environment).
In all cases, the OptiNet system includes assured sensor performance, integral remote storage of space parameters for historic and forensic analysis, and a user-friendly web portal with near-real-time data.
